Women of Water & Allies

March is Women’s History Month, and in celebration, Little Rock Water Reclamation Authority (LRWRA) salutes the honorees of our annual “Women of Water & Allies” (WoWA) Campaign. For six years we’ve shared the stories of women, and now their male supporters, whose hands, hearts, and minds protect public health and foster thriving narratives across our city.

Protecting the Public

If we don’t treat reclaimed water, it means putting water filled with bacteria, harmful chemicals, and human waste back into the environment—the environment from which we take water to use in our homes. For us, doing our jobs well keeps our city from experiencing a public health crisis, and sustains the environment for generations to come.
